Bike Description
The bike was my 11 year old daughter's junior cyclocross bike, used a lightweight commuter bike and purchased second-hand when she was 9. White frame with blue and red detailing, black stem and seat post, white seat. The original Moda model came with drop bars but these had been changed to flat black bars and black silicone grips by its previous owner when we bought it. It also had a black pannier rack with a rear Carradice Super C pannier attached (containing a hand-stitched black bag containing an Alpkit Tau rear led light), and a red plastic bottle cage. Our daughter's bike was taken from our garage while we were away for the weekend. My wife had seen the bike in the garage early Saturday afternoon before leaving the house, but when we returned late Sunday afternoon we found we'd mistakenly left the lock off the door, the rear garage door (leading to our back garden) was open and the bike was missing. No other items had been taken (including my wife's Brompton, a couple of older bikes and frames, our neighbour's own bikes which we store for them, and various pieces of camping equipment).
