Bike Description
Vintage Dutch Style - Mirrorstone electric bike. No battery. Tan leather seat and handle bars. Tektro Disc Brakes on front and Tektro V Brake on rear. Gear Hub - Shimano. Tyres 26 insHandle bar display, LED headlight andtail light, mudguard, panier rack, walk assist,chain guard. Had a kryptonite lock attached to frame, sadly not in use as locked to back of motorhome at time of theft. Also taken my husbands Decathlon Blue and Yellow bike. Has black 'Bull Horn' handle bars which were added for a higher sitting position. Pannier bags hanging off the pannier rack. Plastic black mud guards front and back. Has a stand. Both bikes had the Dutch style locks on the rear wheels. the sort they use widely in Netherlands.Theft Description
The two bikes were locked to the back of our motorhome on our drive. we had been preparing for an early start next day. The bike rack which had two locks on the holding arms plus a chain lock was wrapped round with a padlock. Two white males came at 4am in the morning of 25th June and removed the bikes and headed off towards Derby Road Bramcote - A52 Nottm to Derby road. We have CCTV footage from two cameras. One of them came the night before around 2am and was looking at them then. Must have decided to bring his mate the following evening.Recovery Description
Police found it in a shed in Aspley Notts with several other electric bikes about 3 miles from where it was stolen. 2 people arrested awaiting court.
