Bike Description

Info from when I originally bought the bike 2 years ago: "Lemond Zurich, Reynolds 853 steel, 8(16) speed classic racing/touring bike. This is a clean, almost completely original bike that has been unmolested by interfering hands. It is a late 90s bike probably 1996-8. I have fitted a new bottom bracket and it is equipped with its original Shimano 6400 Ultegra 600 Tricolore group set except the cranks which are Shimano Sora. It has its original Cinelli bars and stem. It is 54cm frame with a top tube of 52cm in Reynolds 853 tubing." Unfortuntely the bike was involved in a hit and run incident a while back, it was previously in mint conditon, but now has distinctive scratching along the top tube, rear chain and seat stay tubes, forks and shifters. The bars are wrapped in white and also have small amount of damage to the tape. This is an incredibly rare bike and there are very few of them in this country, if it's spotted, it will almost certainly be this one. Thanks for reading.

Theft Description

The bike was locked inside my van on what is usually a safe street. There's been a surge in vehicle break ins in our area (Brockley SE4), between 8pm 30th Dec and 2pm 31st Dec, my van window was smashed, they then climbed into the back, stole an old iPhone and my LeMond. They left blood in a number of places around the van, which has been sampled for testing by forensics.
