Bike Description

Blue mountain bike frame with "Kona" written on the lower bar and "fire mountain" on the top (as in picture).  The standard mountain bike tires have been replaced with street tires and the rear wheel has been completely replaced (front rim is silver, back rim is black). Disc brakes. Quick release on the seat and wheels. Front suspension only. The handle grips have worn and split on the right side. There is a speedometer attached to handlebars as well as a railing to attach the front light. The bike was missing the front light when it was stolen. Additionally, one break handle has been replaced and so doesn't match the other. Rear light casing is damaged and has been closed with duct tape. There is also a bracket attached that the bikes cable lock attaches to. A black bottle holder has been attached to the bottom bar of the bike. The bikes parts are still the original Shimano parts except were specified.

Theft Description

The bike was left secured to a cast iron gate on Elm Road, in Southport, using a cable lock and a heavy padlock. The theft wasn't discovered until roughly 2300. Neither the chain nor the padlock could be found and there did not appear to be any damage to the gate.
