Bike Description
This is an 11 month old bike, purchased last Christmas, so in pretty good condition, matt paint finish, dark teal blue with pale orange rings on some of the bike frame. Small mans hybrid bike (looks more medium sized). Wide, straight black handle bars, black seat. Some slight scratches to the paint as owned by my 14 year old son and so had a lot of active use. Stolen whilst locked to a lamp post at Chesterton Recreation ground at roughly 7.00pm on Friday 16th November. My son was playing football with friends and saw the man break the lock but when they confronted him, he threatened to hit my son round the head with the broken lock. The man's girlfriend seemed distressed and urged the boys to run away. The man cycled off at speed, as the group of four 14 year old boys did not want to challange the aggressive man any further. The man was in his thirties, white, dressed in a dark blue hooded coat and grey tracksuit trousers. He shouted and swore and was very aggressive, my son suspects he had taken drugs or been drinking
