My beloved bike of 18 years was stolen in Stoke Newington on the Thursday, I tweeted a picture to @StolenRide, which was then also tweeted by a friend's bike shop, @LDNBikeKitchen, which was seen by a hero who spotted the bike on the Saturday, posted a picture of it and followed the bike until I arrived to reclaim it. It had been bought by a Deliveroo courier earlier in the day from Holloway Road Market for £50. Sounds like a good place to go look for your bike if it goes missing in London. And use social media!!
