Bike Description
Front and rear mudguards (detachable); black FWE stem (instead of GT provided stem, between handlebars and fork); black handlebar strips; black bell on right part of handlebars; some scratch marks on upper part of fork (from lock scratching against it); some missing paint on frame (upper bar between legs - steel bits from lock bumped it off); little bit of rust on wheel bolts and discs; front brake pad needs replacing, back brakes cable a bit rusty and not braking as it should; rusty bits around foot holders on pedals; Continental Gatorskin 700x28c tyres (fairly new, from summer 2017); saddle post's letters faded, quite visible white scruff marks, back light holder attached to the post; chain little bit rusty (only seen from close inspection); most cable clips no longer in place (removed by bike repairmen, but not replaced). Theft Description
Bike was stolen on Thursday 11 January 2018, some time between 1530 and 2300 from Reading station, Vastern Road bike park (northern side). It was parked in the middle of the three bike racks, right hand side if standing with your back to the bus stop, facing the bike rack, approximately fourth or fifth parking bay. The lock was a cable lock, cut through, and they left my white Specialized helmet behind.
