Bike Description
Time-trial bike; front wheel was left at scene so the front may possibly be replaced with a different wheel. Shimano clipless pedals. Couple of scratches on the top of the top-tube near the saddle. Scratched surface on side of the right crank (black turned to grey-silver.) Modification under saddle for holding a light (black rectangular bar.) Red, white and black livery.Theft Description
Corner of Parker's Piece, between Pizza Hut and University Arms Hotel - nearby Regent Street and Regent Terrace. Bike was locked to wooden fence with my partners at 19.15, using cable lock and D-lock on front wheels. Bikes still in place at approximately 21.30. Returned at 22.30 - partner's bike in place, but only front wheel of mine remaining. Front release-rod was undone to separate it from the frame. Searched Parker's Piece briefly - not found. Area was decently lit from the street; but turning to darkness. Not sure about CCTV availability. If anyone noticed somebody around this time/area wheeling a bike (missing a wheel), I would kindly appreciate a description of the person/what direction they were heading. Thank you!
