Bike Description

Light green/grey big brand new men's mountain bike bought on Amazon for £269 on April 25. Perfect condition. No mudguards fenders. Red metallic bottle holder, brand new. Just one scratch on the edge of the left handle of the helm (on the green plastic) as a result of a falling on asphalt.

Theft Description

The bike was parked and locked at the private parking of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in 260 Romsey Road, Southampton, SO16 4BX, between 7:15 pm on Tuesday when the meeting in the hall began and 9:00 pm when it ended. A rack is situated very near the entrance and clearly visible for neighbours, however the bike was hidden behind the black BMW that was parked there as well. So it was quite difficult to notice the bike from the pathway near the Kingdom Hall and ground floor of nearest blocks of flats. Only if someone could notice it from the window and steal it in the darkness. I just bought this bike for my mum, because she wanted to cycle to her future job in University Hospital Southampton. As a refugees and newcomers in England we have no cars, property and depend of Universal Credit and housing benefits. The bike was very useful for us in order to save some money.
