Bike Description
The bike is a woman's Carrera Subway 1 hybrid bike, 18" frame, dark grey in colour. It is/was in very good condition, less than 18 months old and well oiled and maintained. It has quick release wheels and an LED femto drive front light on the handle bars and also an easily removable reflector at the front that doesn't fit well and spins around. Under the seat is a cateye ld600 red light and also a grey coiled cable bike lock around the main frame.Theft Description
The theft occurred in the evening. A group of teenagers climbed over the wall into the back yard of the apartment building where we live (8 Hawthorn Terrace). They broke into an outside storage area where 4 bikes were being stored. They then proceeded to pass the bikes over the wall. They managed to get 2 bikes away before we saw them (out of our top floor window) and stopped them stealing all 4. Unfortunately neither of the two bikes were recovered.
