Bike Description
A newly bought Carrera Crossfire 2 (2 weeks old) excellent condition with little to no wear. The black bike has a minimal green on its frame and tyres. The frame was 19". As the bike was very new, there are little distinguishing features on it. However, if still there, the bike had a strap on its frame for the D-Lock, an awkwardly placed rear light (I didn't get around to removing the existing reflector so the light is strapped just off centre), a slot to put in a light on the front handle bar. The night of the theft, I did also notice that one of the reflectors on the pedal had come loose and was only hanging on by one of the two clips. It still had it's original bell. It was purchased from Halford's in Bristol (Eastgate) as a birthday gift from my father. I still have the reciept. As it was my first bike, I was unaware of the importance of noting the frame number, unfortunately. The images provided are, unfortunately, only stock photos of the bike.Theft Description
The bike was stolen from a bike rack in the enclosed private car park of Lock Keepers Court in Cardiff. It is in the Blackweir area opposite the Blackweir Tavern in an area heavily populated by students. While the car park is gated for cars, there is an adjacent gate that allows any pedestrian traffic (annoyingly) It was stolen somewhere between 11:30pm on Friday the 8th of June 2018 to 1:30pm Saturday the 9th of June.
