Bike Description
The bike was barely used so it was good as new. I had removed the light reflectors and the pedal straps that went with it originally. There was one cat-eye light strap on the handlebar and one on the sit post. It also had easily removable Zefal Swan mud guards. On the middle of the handlebar, on the connection point wit the handlebar post, it has a mark like tinny white spray spots on the black mat material.Theft Description
The bike was locked-wheel and frame to the bicycle ruck- with a thick motorbike chain outside the door of my office in the Horspath road industrial park, opposite the BMW plant. As the street where my job is located is not a passage I can't help but assume that it must have been someone who works in the area and had seen me using and locking the bike in that spot. Also, the spot is easily visible from the office's windows. This as well makes it obvious that it was a planned act as it needed to be done quickly otherwise someone could notice them, which enforces the first argument. The thief broke the lock and left it on the ground where I found it when I finished work.
