Bike Description
Grey Cannondale Synapse 7 Sora Women's bike with green/turquoise detailing on frame. 56 size frame. Had silver Shimano M324 SPD pedals (single sided cleat mechanism). Instead of a bottle holder the frame had plastic studs for a fabric cageless bottle. Was stolen with a bell, attachment for front cateye light and a rear under seat bag, which had a rear light attached.Theft Description
The bike was one of several bikes stolen from a locked bike cage in the garage of our building in Hackney Wick. This was a proper organised theft as 6-8 bikes went and all were individually locked up within the locked cage, which requires a code to access. The bike was locked using an Abus D lock, which was cut off. A white van was parked up outside around 3am on saturday morning so we think this was used to take the bikes off site.Recovery Description
Found it for sale on Gumtree and got police to accompany us in meeting the seller. Guy selling it claimed he was fixing it for a friend.
