58in frame, wheels have gatorskin tyres front and back (yellow writing faded but still visible), brackets for lights on handle bars and seatpost but no lights attached. Bright orange drinks bottle holder (probably been taken off by thieves). Shimano PD-R540 SPD pedals in grey/silver.Theft Description
Bike was locked up outside Xercise4Less gym off Ilkeston Road in Nottingham. CCTV footage from the gym shows somebody crouching down with their back to the camera to pick the lock, then making off with the bike.Recovery Description
Findthatbike is a fantastic and really simple service. I checked the emails it sent each day with bikes that matched my keywords on eBay and gumtree. After a few months I'd accepted I wasn't finding it, but then it appeared on eBay! Luckily it was being sold in a "cash converter" type shop, so they dealt with the police and were really helpful. I'm unsure what the result was wit the thief, but the main thing is my bike was returned to me unscathed! Thank you FindThatBike!
