Bike Description
Bike stolen on 09/12/15 at between 5pm and 8pm from outside the Leeds Beckett University Rose Bowl building. I’ve been hunting for the bike on the Internet for a number of weeks now and no luck. The bike is a 2003 Medium framed size bike with the unique single Headshock Super Fatty DL fork at the front. This bike is in reasonable condition and features some brand new Avid DB1 disk brakes front and rear which were fitted a few weeks before. Close ups of this non-factory standard brakes can be found in the pictures below. Other unique components include the 20-year-old Thomson Elite seat post (very valuable)I’m offering a cash reward of £100 for anyone that has any information leading to the location of this bike. It’s extremely rare to see these bikes so still holding out that I’ll get it back.
Theft Description
The bike was locked up directly outside a busy university building using a cable 'bike mate' lock. The lock was cut and then discarding on the floor. CCTV was in operation but was unfortunately zoomed too far in to capture the theft.Recovery Description
I was browsing on www.stolenbikes.co.uk for my bike that was stolen 3 months ago and found someone selling it on Gumtree. I met with police and we managed to recover the bike. However, the thief got away with it somehow. Never lose hope, there's always a chance you'll see your bike again!!
