Recovery Description

After my Brompton bike was stolen in May 2021 in a mugging, I registered it with the Brompton, Immobilise, Bike Register and Stolen Bikes websites in addition to the police. Fortunately I had photos including the serial plate and a copy of my purchase receipt to prove ownership. Bromptons are very easily identifiable and I figured that at some point its new owner would try to have it serviced..... At the end of August I was contacted through Bike Register by a man who had bought the bike off a Gumtree seller at a Tube station for £££. He had discovered it was stolen and handed it into a police station in central london, where I was able to collect it. I've just messaged him through Bike Register about sending a reward as he has been so wonderfully honest. Thanks for all of your help and the FInd That Bike emails - it's a great service!
